Go With a Large Organized groupOrganized scheduled safaris are cheaper because you get group rates and this reduces your transportation and accommodation costs.

Pros: � Good option if you don't want to camp and participate but still want a budget safari. � These packages include a guide which will make your safari a lot more interesting. Knowing what animals and plants that you are looking at is a big benefit of having a guide.

Cons:� You may not like the people you are booked with.

Book a Safari in the Low SeasonIn Kenya the low season for safaris is from April & May
Pros: � Low-season prices will save you least 25% on any safari. � You avoid the crowds
Cons: � This is the rainy season, so grass may be higher in some parks. This makes it harder to see the animals. But check out the game viewing guide for Kenya since some parks like Samburu get very little rain!
