Want to discover the best Southern African safari for you?
You've come to the right place!

Find peace of mind & answers to your questions about which are the best safaris in Southern Africa for you. Find superb deals on the best Botswana, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia & Namibia safaris, tours & flights. A Botswana safari is one of the most exceptional African safari experiences.

We feel this way every time we visit. No matter that we – my wife, our daughter, and I – have been on over 80 African safari holidays throughout Africa.

Botswana remains one of our favorite destinations. The remoteness, closeness to nature and tranquility will delight you, fill you with wonder and revitalize you.

An African Botswana safari is truly second to none. Let the warm African sun melt away the stresses and demands of a much too busy lifestyle.

Botswana Visa Requirements All nationals of foreign countries require a visa, except those from countries which have reached visa abolition agreements with Botswana.

Immunizations for Overseas Travel to Botswana

Botswana has generally high levels of hygiene. Drinking water from the tap is safe throughout the country. And if you prefer bottled water is readily available. No specific foreign travel immunizations are compulsory if you arrive from North America, the UK, Europe, and Australia. But it is wise to ensure that your polio and tetanus shots are up to date. It is also recommended that you have a Hepatitis A immunization.

For travel to Botswana, you need to take anti malaria pills (get your doctor’s advice on the best one for you), sleep under a mosquito net, use insect repellents. Malaria carrying mosquitoes are active between dusk and dawn so have on long sleeve shirts and long pants then.

A yellow fever vaccination certificate is necessary if you’ve come from a country where the disease is endemic. For example, Kenya, Tanzania or tropical South America. If you are going to another African country first and need the yellow fever shot, remember that a yellow fever certificate only becomes valid ten days after you’ve had the shot.
