South Africa boasts two great luxury trains. We have been on the Blue three times and Rovos once. It is hard to say which is my favorite since both are uniquely luxurious.

If I had to give a nod it would have to be for the lovely "Blue." This is because of the exemplary service & the wonderful memories I have of it. It was a life long dream of my late father-in-law to travel on it. And he loved it when we treated him and my mother in law to a couple of trips on this legendary train.
