South Africa is a beautiful country and the Fifa World Cup 2010 schedule allows you to experience the country as well. In addition, the 2010 World Cup promises to have a huge economic impact throughout the country. Here are the cities and stadiums that will be used. In total, there are 10 stadiums that will be used for the Fifa World Cup 2010 schedule.
There will be five new stadiums, while five existing stadiums will be upgraded for the world’s most popular sporting event.

- 1. Soccer City -- First National Bank Stadium, Johannesburg
- 2. Ellis Park in Johannesburg
- 3. Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria (this is about a 35 minute drive from Johannesburg)
- 4. The Royal Bafokeng stadium in Rustenberg, in North West province will be upgraded (an hour and half from Johannesburg)
- 5. Vodacom Park in Mangaung (Bloemfontein) in the Free State
- 6. In Limpopo Province, the Peter Mokaba stadium in Polokwane (formerly Pietersberg)
- 7. A new stadium will be at Mbombela in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga Province
- 8. A new stadium will be built in the Nelson Mandela Metro (encompassing Port Elizabeth) in the Eastern Cape
- 9. Kings Park stadium in Durban will be rebuilt for the event, becoming a multi-sports facility
- 10. In the Western Cape, Cape Town’s Green Point stadium will be rebuilt, becoming a "totally new" multi-purpose sports facility complete with a dome that can be opened and closed. The dome is necessary for Cape Town’s unpredictable weather
